How to report a car accident in Dubai

While we hope you never ever have a car accident in Dubai (or anywhere else!), it’s important to know what to do if it ever happens.

If you are involved in a traffic accident in the UAE, here is how to report it:

First, if anyone is injured, call emergency services on 998 or 999.

If the accident is minor and no one is hurt, move the vehicles to a safe place away from traffic.

You can submit a report via the Dubai Police app or the Dubai Now app - follow the prompts and submit the report.

Sometimes other drivers will merely drive off after being involved in a car accident. If possible, always note down the make, model and license plate number of the other car(s) - this is especially helpful in moments like these.
