
SHAZZA GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Definitions - The following terms are used throughout these terms and conditions and have the following meanings
Account: It refers to the account that the Users are required to register through the App and/or the Platform to use the Services, including the required documents needed to complete the Account registration.
Add-ons: All additional services facilitated by SHAZZA including but not limited to an additional driver, full insurance, and personal accidental insurance. All add-ons including but not limited to such as GPS, baby seats are subject to the individual car rental options.
Agreement and Terms & Conditions: All terms and conditions and notices contained or referenced in this document (as mentioned) and all other rules and regulations available on all platforms (including but not limited to the Privacy Policy, guidelines, and procedures that may be published from time to time on the Platform).
App: Mobile application that displays all of SHAZZA services and charges including current on-hires and previous rental history inclusive of vehicle insurance, licensing and any other required documents, payment overview, pay-outs and the option for direct Vendor-to -Renter communication.
Booking Confirmation: Any, and all written or electronically transmitted confirmation orders sent by SHAZZA for a vehicle that may contain, including without limitation, reservation number, the description of the vehicle, pick-up location, date and time, drop-off location, date, and time, payment terms, quantity, duration of the vehicle being rented and any special condition.
Booking ID: A specific booking reference on each vehicle’s booking via the application and confirmation upon a booking with relation to the SHAZZA app itself.
Customer: ‘you’ or ‘your’ collectively means a person or company renting out the vehicle(s) from the Vendor via the SHAZZA app and/or platform also known as a Renter.
Early Return Charges: This means the penalty charges payable by the Renter in the event of early termination of a Vehicle Rental Agreement by the Renter.
Extensions: If the Renter would like an extension on the rental for an additional period than the initial booking.
Feedback: A review, comment, written or pictured given by a User of the SHAZZA platform.
KYC: “Know Your Customer” a document and identification policy separate to Terms and Conditions.
Non-Rental Charges: means charges that may be incurred by the Renter as a result of using a rented vehicle from a Vendor including, but not limited to, traffic and parking fines, toll fees, fuel charges, excess mileage fees, the Payment Default Penalty Charges, and the Early Termination Penalty Charges. These charges are subject to change as per the Road Transport Authority (RTA) guidelines.
PDP: Personal Data Protection, in accordance with the new UAE Federal Code of 2022.
Platform: means any online tool(s) provided, processed, and/or maintained by SHAZZA (including, but not limited to, through SHAZZA’s App, website, all subpages, and subdomains, all Content, Services, and products available at or through the Platform located at (WEBSITE NEEDED) or any other related domain offering access to, or facilitating the provision of, the Services.
Rental/Rented: A Renter pays for the days the car is rented out or if any add-ons are added, they will also be considered as rental.
Service means the online and/or offline services, provided by SHAZZA for the provision and use of the technology that SHAZZA has developed for collaboration, communication, and payment between the Vendors and the Renters, including without limitation access to SHAZZA App, online community, communication tools, and payment services. Note: The use of Client Data adhering to, and within the guidelines of, the Protection of Personal Data under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data Protection. For further information on the use of data you may find this under our General Terms and Conditions.
Social Media: meaning any platforms inclusive of but not exclusive to, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp which are used to promote, market, interact with individuals, gain reviews and comments. SHAZZA may use this method of communication with Vendors and Renters.
Vehicle: The vehicle of a Vendor enrolled within the Platform that has been rented by a Customer or agreed by a Vendor to be rented out to a Renter through the Platform, and that includes its parts, components, accessories, and registration documents.
Vendor: The person(s) or company renting the vehicle to the Renter. A Vendor can also be referred to as a “Carpreneur”
Wallet: An in-app feature used for future payments both as rental or non-rental, or just to keep extra credit in time of need. Refunds may be given in credit and stored within the Wallet function of the SHAZZA platform.
UAE: United Arab Emirates.
User: Person(s) with access to a SHAZZA profile on any platform held
GENERAL TERMS
The terms below are set out as the general terms and conditions that apply to each of SHAZZA’s Vendors and Renters. All Terms and Conditions in the English language precede any other language translation and uphold all legal standings.

By accessing and using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, and the Terms relevant to you as either the Vendor or Renter. If you do not agree with any of the Terms, you may not use the Services.

SHAZZA encourages you to check the Terms regularly for any amendments to the Terms. Your continued use of SHAZZA will constitute your express consent to the then-current version of the Terms. SHAZZA will provide updated Terms and Conditions where possible; however, the Vendor or Renter is responsible for ensuring they update themselves.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights, either as a consumer of services or otherwise under the Emirate of Dubai
Signing up to Shazza
Welcome to SHAZZA, as part of our signing up process whether you’re a Vendor or a Renter you will most likely be using either your face recognition through your mobile device or an email address. A quick reminder that signing up via these methods may automatically agree to our terms and conditions including marketing and updates. Should you wish to opt out of marketing please email customerservice@shazza.me and we will be happy to assist.

PRIVACY POLICY
The terms of the Privacy Policy are found in your relevant Terms and Conditions, either Vendor or Renter.
SHAZZA USER ACCOUNT
You must register, and get verified as a User in order to access and use the Services, whether you are a Vendor or a Renter. On your registration as a User, we will create a profile for you based on the information you submit. You must be at least 21 years of age; and
You must provide true, accurate, complete and current information (including, without limitation, your name, date of birth, email address, residential/postal address, payment details, and other details), as well as your current and fully valid Emirates ID/passport copy and driving licence with at least a 6 month validity from issuance, as requested by SHAZZA during account creation on any SHAZZA platform.
Please note: As a UAE Resident you must have a UAE driving licence to be able to rent one of the vehicles from our vendors.
By registering yourself as a User on SHAZZA, you warrant that the details you provide to SHAZZA are correct and complete, at all times, and you agree that you will upload the new information via the SHAZZA platform immediately. If you are registering as a User on behalf of a business or any corporate body, you are confirming that you hold the appropriate authority to bind the business or corporate body on whose behalf you are registering.
You can access and update your details (excluding your name and last name) using the “My Profile” area of the SHAZZA platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password and for preventing unauthorised access to your profile. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under or in relation to your account. Please take all necessary steps to ensure that the Username and password is kept confidential and secure at all times. Please inform SHAZZA immediately via the Contact Us page. If you have any reason to believe that your Username and/or password has become known to anyone else, or is/are being, or are likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner. There can only be one account per User, even where a User is a corporate body.
By registering with SHAZZA, Renters gain access to a wide variety of Vehicles, which they can choose from based on price, model, size, as well as other requirements and accordingly enter into a rental agreement with the Vendor for the rental of a vehicle.
There will be four (4) categories of Vendors : Economy, Mid-range, High-range, Luxury. The minimum rental for a vehicle is AED 100 per day. The Vendor ultimately decides the rental amount on an individual basis.
There are two categories of Renters: UAE residents renting Vehicles (“Residents”) and non-UAE residents renting Vehicles (“Tourist”). A Resident will hold a valid Emirates ID and UAE driving licence. A Tourist will hold a Valid Passport, and an international driving licence. You may refer to your individual Terms and Conditions for the full requirements.
The prices relating to the Services (“Fees”) will be displayed in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) with 5% VAT applicable to the Fees and are set out in the Schedule of Fees as under the above Eligibility and individually represented on SHAZZA’s Vendors profile.
Vendors will pay 20% to SHAZZA plus 5% VAT
Renters will pay 5% to SHAZZA plus 5% VAT
Corporate will be provided on an individual basis.
When you make a Booking, SHAZZA collects certain personal and transactional information (e.g. name, address, email address). SHAZZA’s use of your information is detailed in your Vendor or Renter Terms and Conditions.
You may pay the Fees for the Booking that you make by supplying your preferred payment method via our payment gateway. Shazza’s payment gateway is hosted by Mamopay, you may refer to their Terms and Conditions for further information on the terms of usage. https://www.mamopay.com/legal/terms-business
We take reasonable care to ensure that our Services are secure, and our payment gateway suppliers will be the only entities that will be authorised in collecting and using your financial information. All transactions on our Services are processed using authorised providers, which includes MasterCard, Visa, American Express, inclusive of Apple Pay and a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. The payment gateway providers will securely store your payment details on their systems. These details will be fully encrypted and only used to process transactions, which you have initiated. If you have any issue with your payment, please notify us and we will put you in contact with our payment gateway supplier.
When you make your Booking, SHAZZA’s system automatically asks your payment issuer for authorization with regards to the transaction amount. Should you require to book with a credit card other than your own, such as but not exclusively for business purposes you will be required to provide further security via an OTP. SHAZZA takes no responsibility or liability with regard to the use and authorisation of the payment method. The responsibility lies within the financial institution in which the payment method was authorised and their Terms and Conditions apply to any transactions that may be questioned.
Bookings will be accepted subject to availability and confirmation by the Vendor. We may not accept your Booking in a variety of situations, including:

1) if your Booking is in your basket on the app and/ or website, but has not yet been paid for;

2) if the Vehicle is unavailable;

3) if the payment was not authorised;
-
4) for any other reason (at SHAZZA’s sole discretion)
SHAZZA is not liable for any lack of funds, monies or credit within the SHAZZA wallets with regards to deposits, refunds or withdrawals.
SHAZZA is not liable to provide you with any further information covering the reason(s) why the vendor has not accepted your Booking. SHAZZA will not process your payment (or will cease processing your Booking) in these types of situations, and will not be liable to you or to any third party by reason of our decision to decline processing, or unwind or suspend any Booking after processing has begun. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate your account, or cancel a Booking, at our sole discretion.
If you use the Services to make a Booking, you agree to pay the full amount payable for such Booking as indicated during the Booking request process. If the issuer of your payment method refuses to authorise payment, SHAZZA will cancel your booking and contact you for repayment. We cannot be held responsible if this results in a delay regarding your Booking.
Once the Booking has been made and payment has been received successfully, we will send you a notification confirming the Booking, and receipt of payment.
SHAZZA cannot guarantee the security of any payment information communicated via any of the following channels and will not be liable to you for any losses caused as a result of shared payment information or financial details using email, WhatsApp, SMS, over the phone or any other social media platforms. This includes any offline communication including hand-written and verbal.
INSURANCE OPTIONS
SHAZZA is proud to offer our Vendors a number of Insurance options giving you the peace of mind that whilst your vehicle is with one of our approved renters, your vehicle is secured for any damage or loss.
The following options for insurance while using SHAZZA are;
Excess Deductible Deposit: The Renter may pay the Vendor the deposit of the excess deductible amount as per the registered vehicle’s insurance policy. . The deposit will be released upon the return of the vehicle based on no damages present. The amount will be added to the SHAZZA wallet and refunded into the wallet and released to the original method of payment.
International Insurance: The renter may provide a valid insurance from another country that will cover vehicle rental in the UAE. Documents must be approved by the Vendor in order for the insurance to be accepted. Vendors will also be provided with a link to World Wide Insurance Company to whom they will then have the option to offer the third-party insurance to the Renter.
Third-party Insurance: Should the Renter take out third-party insurance, they must provide the Vendor with a copy of the said insurance with the specific details which are uploaded via the app. The Terms and Conditions set out in the third-party insurance must also be shared with the Vendor.
The Vendor may utilise the third-party insurance option via https://www.worldwideinsure.com
SHAZZA holds no responsibility or liability for any third-party insurance and has no affiliation to Worldwide Insure.
Should the Renter opt for an external or third party insurance, they must upload this to the app in order for the Vendor to have access.
MEDICAL INSURANCE
SHAZZA bares no responsibility for any Medical costs, insurance or related medical fees during the rental period of any vehicle. SHAZZA also bare no responsibility for any medical treatments, consultations, fees or related costs after any accident where a vehicle has been rented from a Vendor. All Renters agree to their own medical costs and expenses upon signing up via the app.
RATINGS AND FEEDBACK
Users must leave ratings and feedback (“Feedback”) on their experience of the Services and Vendors.
In posting such Feedback, you warrant that:
You have engaged with the Users;
The statements of fact reflected in the Feedback posted across any platform deemed as Social Media by you are true or not materially different from the truth;
You will not use obscene or offensive language or submit any material that is, or may potentially be, defamatory, abusive or hateful, an invasion of anyone’s privacy, harmful to other users, or harmful to the business interests of SHAZZA; and
Only one Feedback per rental is permitted;
You acknowledge and accept that your Feedback will be publicly available for viewing on the SHAZZA platform. SHAZZA is not responsible for checking or editing the Feedback. You consent to the publication of, and authorise SHAZZA to publish Feedback, even though such Feedback may be critical or negative of their experience and even though SHAZZA may be aware or ought to reasonably be aware that such Feedback caused or contributed to the publication of a statement that is negative towards you, they reserve the right to remove.
You hereby irrevocably release SHAZZA from, and waive all rights against SHAZZA, in respect of any liability arising out of or in connection with the publication of any negative comments made by you or about you in such Feedback. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SHAZZA and its affiliates (and their respective employees, directors and representatives) against any claim or action brought by a third party, arising out of or in connection with any Feedback left by you should you have any claim against any other User of SHAZZA. You must address such disputes directly with that User.
You agree to take no legal action against SHAZZA in relation to the Feedback posted by you or regarding you via the Services.
YOUR USE OF SHAZZA
SHAZZA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use the Services for their intended purposes subject to your compliance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or rent any part of the Services. Your individual Terms and Conditions will provide a clear overview and consent to User Content.
You may have the option of accessing the Services through a downloadable software and this software may update itself automatically on your device.
SHAZZA is constantly modifying and improving our Services. We may introduce new features, change existing features, or remove features from the Services at any time and without notice. If you provide us with any Feedback on or other comments regarding the Services, you grant SHAZZA the right, on an unlimited, perpetual basis, to use such Feedback or other comments for any purpose without restriction or payment to you.
SHAZZA’s PURPOSE
SHAZZA is not considered a Vendor or a Renter of the Vehicles advertised. SHAZZA is only a facilitator providing a platform between Vendors and Renters in which to provide Services outlined in the individual Terms and Conditions. Accordingly, any rental agreement created through the completion of a booking using any SHAZZA platform is solely between the Vendor and Renter.
SHAZZA reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings against any Vendors or Renters for fraudulent use of the Services and any other unlawful act or acts of omissions in breach of these Terms and the Terms inclusive of Vendor and Renter respectively. Legal proceedings will be held under the jurisdiction of the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY
Unless otherwise expressly stated, all contents of the Services are copyrights, trademarks, patents and/or other intellectual property owned, controlled or licensed by SHAZZA or one of our affiliates or by third parties who have licensed their materials to us and are protected by all applicable laws.
INDEMNITY
You hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify SHAZZA its affiliates and employees, from and against any claims, liabilities, suits, judgments, litigation costs, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages (actual and consequential), fines, penalties, and attorneys’ fees or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature arising from or in any way related to your use of the Services, including, but not limited to those brought by you or on your behalf in excess of the liability described above, or by third parties as a result of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party, and/or your use of the Services.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
The Services are provided on an “available” basis. SHAZZA and its affiliates, and any of our employees, expressly disclaim (to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law) any and all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including, without limitation, any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement of proprietary rights.
In addition, SHAZZA makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the reliability, timeliness, quality, suitability, or availability of the Services. SHAZZA has outlined further warranties in the Individual Terms and Conditions set out by the Vendor and Renter respectively.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permissible by applicable law, SHAZZA, its affiliates, and employees:
are not liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages or loss (including, without limitation, incidental and consequential damages, lost profits, or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption) arising out of, or in a way connected with the use or inability to use the Services and its content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory. SHAZZA bears no liability and the liability ultimately falls with the Vendor or Renter as per their Terms and Conditions.
INSURANCE & THIRD-PARTY INSURANCE
Under the Terms, the Renter agrees to adhere to all of the terms of the Vendor’s Registered vehicle insurance policy and is responsible to pay the car insurance excess value as defined under the Vendor's vehicle insurance policy. Third-party insurance must be referred to and shared with the Vendor and SHAZZA should it be taken.
CUSTOMERS LIABILITY & NON RENTAL CHARGES
In respect of a Booking, you will be liable for:
any loss of, or damage to, the Registered Vehicle;
any consequential damage, loss or costs incurred by us or the Vendor, including salvage costs and any damages or costs we must pay to the Vendor and/or; any loss of, or damage to, property of any third party.
Damages, Non Rental fees and other charges not related to rental are the Vendor and Renters' liability as per the individual Terms and Conditions.
In the case of speeding offences (and where otherwise obliged by law) the Renter acknowledges and agrees that SHAZZA or the Vendor themselves may cooperate with the authorities such as and not limited to the Police and provide details of the renter. The authorities are able to contact Vendor and Renter directly.
OFFER, DISCOUNT AND PROMOTIONS.
In the event of a promotion or special offer advertised on any of the SHAZZA platforms, these are entirely held at the discretion of SHAZZA. Offers, discounts and or promotions must not be used in conjunction with each other and as per the individual terms stated. SHAZZA reserves the right to withdraw or amend any of the offers, discounts and or promotions at any given time without notice to either Vendor or Renter.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR USE OF OUR APP, ITS CONTENT, OR SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK OF LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF INFORMATION OR CONTENT OBTAINED FROM A VENDOR OR RENTER OR THE SERVICES. ALL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PRECEDE AND GIVE LEGAL STANDING OVER ANY OTHER LANGUAGE TRANSLATION.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY AS THEY REGULATE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOU THE “CLIENT” ALSO KNOWN AS THE “COMPANY” KNOWN AS iSUPPLY INTERNATIONAL BY ACCESSING AND USING THE SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO BE BOUND FULLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. iSUPPLY INTERNATIONAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REVISE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Introduction
iSUPPLY INTERNATIONAL (collectively, ‘The Company”, ‘we’ or ‘us’) provide recruitment placement services for Clients across the MENA, UK and GCC regions.

The following are the standard terms and conditions as for a Client ("Terms and Conditions") that apply to you holding the account with iSupply International, once signed by you will constitute your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions as set out.
About Supply International
Welcome to iSupply International, your one stop for recruitment placement. We endeavour to source and find you the ideal candidates for any role given. Offering a high-level of service with an unmatched customer service to ensure you as a Client have your needs met and exceeded.
Eligibility: Clients may be subject to KYC documentation being submitted. This will vary depending on the country in which you are seeking to recruit. Your recruitment specialist will inform you of the required upon successfully holding an account with us.

SHAZZA bears no responsibility for the authentication of the documents uploaded from either Vendor or Renter. Documentation will be checked however, SHAZZA does not take the liability of any incorrect documentation uploaded, presented or shared upon the platforms or from Renter to Vendor.
Changes in Status to Eligibility
Vendors must immediately notify SHAZZA if the case of the occurrence of any of the below mentioned events:

If the Vendors driver’s licence has been suspended, expired, surrendered, withdrawn, lost, or is no longer valid for any other reason.

In the case of a change of contact information: email address and mobile phone number etc.

If the Vendors insurance policy changes.

If the Vehicle is serviced or modified.
By refraining from informing SHAZZA about any of the above-mentioned events, a Vendor’s contract with SHAZZA may be suspended or terminated. Contingent upon the nature of the change, SHAZZA retains the right to request Vendors to provide an updated copy of their official driving record and insurance policy.
SHAZZA has the right to reserve, update, modify and extend any parts herein the Changes of Status to Eligibility.
SHAZZA Wallet
The SHAZZA wallet is available to deposit and hold funds in the Vendors case to collect payment for the rented vehicle along with the deposit amount.
Please consult our General Terms and Conditions with regards to further information regarding the SHAZZA wallet.
Vendor Withdraw
The Vendor can withdraw from their SHAZZA Wallet directly back to their original method of payment. SHAZZA will release funds after eighteen (18) business days to the Vendor from any leasing. After the eighteen (18) days have passed the individual's banking terms are effective.
The charge for withdrawing from the SHAZZA wallet will be AED 52 for foreign transactions, which is considered any bank or financial institute outside of the UAE.
For local transactions when a vendor withdraws their money from their Shazza wallet a payment of AED 26 will be applicable.

Instant Booking
Instant booking options are available to offer as a Vendor to a Renter. Should you offer the Instant booking option, the Vendor must be able to accept and handover the vehicle as long as the vehicle has a full tank, is clean and ready to collect. The Vendor has 30 minutes to approve. If the first time the Vendor misses accepting no penalty will occur however, any further mis-acceptance the Vendors account will be temporarily disabled from Instant Book feature and will only have access to the request to book option.
Vehicle Delivery and Collection
The Vendor and the Renter may arrange directly through the SHAZZA app and have the option to communicate directly via email and phone with regards to the method of delivery or collection. The Renter may be charged for late return fee by the Vendor, please refer to the Late Return clause within these Terms and Conditions.
Should the Vendor need to deliver the vehicle to the Renter, the Renter is charged a standard drop-off fee of AED 100. The Vendor will specify to the Renter during the booking process if the drop-off fee is applicable or if the fee varies. The Vendor must not under any circumstance announce the fee to the Renter after payment for the booking has been received or after the rental period has finished. The Renter must agree with the Vendor.
Should the vehicle be collected by the Renter from the Vendor and not dropped off there will be no charge. The drop off and pick up of the vehicle may be contactless for either party with an agreement between both Vendor and Renter of location, time and key collection/return. Shazza is not held accountable for any interactions or agreements in regards to the collection and return of the Vehicle.
Vehicle Conditions
Vendors must ensure the vehicle is considered a “full tank” of fuel and make note of marks, scratches, damages or any other conditions that may be required on collection by the Renter by uploading a video as per the SHAZZA guidelines. Unless otherwise stated between the Renter and Vendor a “full tank” not be provided a penalty may be incurred. The Renter must agree upon this to ensure a confirmed collection of the rental vehicle. The Renter will equally respect the fuel allowance and inform of any marks, scratches, damages or other conditions that may affect the return of the car to the Vendor via the video upload method.
Renters must upload a video 60 seconds / 1 minute in length of the exterior of the vehicle, and 30 seconds of the interior. Renters must include the start mileage in the photo upload and equally the Renter must include the end mileage in their photo. The Renter must also upload a photo of the vehicle on collection via the app for the Vendor to then work out the mileage used. This must be completed immediately upon pick up of the vehicle and drop-off.
Should the damages not be disclosed by the Vendor within one (1) hour from the return of the vehicle, the return of the vehicle’s condition becomes null and void. SHAZZA holds no liability for the communication of the above between Renter and Vendor. SHAZZA has the right to investigate on a case-by-case basis.
The Vendor must ensure that the car has been registered with the RTA for Salik and have a sufficient amount of AED in the RTA Salik account. The Vendor will be charged AED 4 per toll and given a final amount in AED to be deducted as per the RTA.
Extra Mileage
Where SHAZZA recommends the following charges for extra mileage, the Vendor will ultimately be responsible for the daily mileage. The Vendor will calculate the mileage used by the in app option by proof via photo upload. After the Renter has met the daily mileage allowance the excess amounts charge will be as follows:

Economy Vehicle: AED 0.35 per km

Mid-Range Vehicle: AED 0.40 per km

High-range Vehicle: AED 0.55 per km

Luxury: AED 0.65 per km
Non-Rental Charges Criteria
All non-rental includes Fines, Toll gates, Excess Mileage, Fuel charges, and damages where applicable. It is the Vendors responsibility to update these charges by presenting relevant documentation or a screenshot to the customerservice@shazza.me email address no later than thirteen (13) days after the last day of rental. SHAZZA holds no responsibility for any fines or salik charges not returned to the vendor outside of this time period
The Vendor is responsible to disclose any excess mileage as per the renters uploaded photo of the mileage at the end of the agreed rental period. The Vendor must upload a timestamped screenshot of the mileage on the collection of the vehicle within one (1) hour and send to the customerservice@shazza.me email. Should the excess mileage not be confirmed by the vendor in the said amount of time the claim of extra mileage may be disputed and no excess fees given.
Cancellation of Confirmed Reservations, Refunds, Vehicle Rental

The Vendor must agree and accept and confirm the reservation of rental within 24 hours starting from the time in which the Renter applies. Should the 24-hour window for acceptance be missed the booking will be cancelled automatically.

In the case of the Instant Book option, the Vendor has the right to cancel the booking within ten 30 minutes of acceptance without penalty. Renters are made aware of the thirty (30) minute grace period within these terms and conditions. Should the cancellation occur after the thirty (30) minute grace period the cancellation policy applies to both parties.

Should more than three (3) consecutive cancelled bookings occur within the period of one (1) month through non confirmation with a Vendor to a Renter , the Vendors account will be suspended pending an investigation into the usage and authenticity of the account.

Vendors agree to the Renter to a deposit of an amount declared by the Vendor per vehicle hired from the Vendor, the minimum recommended amount of deposit is AED 1500 to be held for fourteen (14) Days in the event of any Salik or RTA fines on the rented vehicle(s). Once the 14-day limit has passed all deductibles will be taken and the remaining amount returned to you back the SHAZZA wallet Please see the non-rental charges for the process of claim.

All cancellations of confirmed reservations by the client must be communicated directly to SHAZZA. If the Renter cancels from the start of the booking within (twenty-four) 24 hours a AED 300 penalty will be given to the Renter. If the cancellation will be processed outside of (twenty-four) 24 hours the penalty is waived.

If cancellations are made due to Covid -19, no force majeure is considered. The Vendor has full and legal right to request a confirmation of positive case and any monies paid by the Renter on confirmation of confirmed positive case will then fall under part (d). Should no confirmation of a positive case be provided the Vendor is entitled to keep any deposit(s) and the booking(s) will be considered as “no show”, the cancellation policy will be deemed relevant to charges under Part (e) of these terms and conditions.

Any other cancellations made within twenty-four (24 hours) are subject to an evaluation on a case-by-case basis. All cancellations must provide documented evidence to support.

You may appeal a cancellation by reaching out to the Renter and amicably settling based on the information they provide. Should no agreement be made an appeal to SHAZZA via the customer services may be made within twenty-four (24) hours of the booking being cancelled.

Vendors expressly release SHAZZA of any and all liabilities related to the Vehicle Rental. The Vendor agrees and acknowledges that SHAZZA is not responsible for resolving any disputes between Renters and Vendors, whether related to the cancellation of a confirmed reservation, or the processing of any changes to a Confirmed Reservation, or otherwise. The Vendor agrees and acknowledges that the rental payments are subject to the Vehicle Rental Agreement and in no event may SHAZZA be held liable for the refund of the Rental Payment and the Additional Fees. The refund and cancellation policy are as per these Terms and Conditions.
Late Return Fees
The Vendor and the Renter are permitted to arrange any other late return fees outside of this agreement however, SHAZZA stands by the following as a standard;

0 - 29 minutes: No Charge

30 - 119 minutes: ½ Daily Rental Price + AED 185 improper return fee
-
120 + mintutes: 1 Day Rental Price + AED 185 improper return fee + AED 75 late return fee.
Improper return fee may be charged if the Renter is unresponsive, abandons the vehicle, causes a trip cancellation and/or any other reasons determined by SHAZZA.
Insurance
All cars must come with comprehensive insurance as per UAE law. In the event of an accident or damage, Renter must notify the police and Vendor immediately and should not move the vehicle until the police issue a report or advise them to do so. Failure to submit a police report will render the Renter liable for all costs incurred as a result of the accident and will result in no insurance coverage. The Renter has the right to request a copy of the Vendors vehicle insurance policy at any time.
In the result of an accident the UAE Police may be called on 999
If the police report provided is ‘Green’, Renter will not be charged as this was not the fault of the Renter themselves. If the police report is ‘Red’, there will be excess insurance charges depending on the type of car, age of driver (under 25 years old or above 25 years old) and the extent of damage caused.
If it is the Renters mistake and a ‘Red’ police report is provided - maximum liability will be charged. The Vendor has the right to charge the excess amount to the Renter as per the UAE’s Insurance Authority.

Insurance Authority
All documentation relating to any offences of any vehicles stored on the SHAZZA app must be presented by both the Vendor and Renter. The Vendor holds no responsibility under the car insurance to uphold any medical costs that may incur due to any accidents sustained whilst the vehicle is rented by the Renter.
Note: Coverage for punctures, tire damage, wheel caps, aerials, and windscreens must be disclosed by the Vendor to the Renter as per the vehicle’s individual insurance terms and conditions upon renting the vehicle.
SHAZZA is proud to offer you our Vendor a number of Insurance options giving you the peace of mind that whilst the vehicle is with one of our approved renters, the vehicle is secured for any damage or loss.
The following options for insurance while using SHAZZA are;
Excess Deductible Deposit: The Renter may pay the Vendor the deposit of the excess deductible amount as per the registered vehicle’s insurance policy. The deposit will be released upon the return of the vehicle based on no damages present. The amount will be added to the SHAZZA wallet and can thereafter be withdrawn to the chosen renters bank account or credit card.
International Insurance: The renter may provide a valid insurance from another country that will cover vehicle rental in the UAE. Documents must be approved by the Vendor in order for the insurance to be accepted.
Third-party Insurance: Should the Renter take out third-party insurance, they must provide the Vendor with a copy of the said insurance with the specific details which are uploaded via the app. The Terms and Conditions set out in the third-party insurance must also be shared with the Vendor.

SHAZZA holds no responsibility or liability for any third-party insurance and has no affiliation to Worldwide Insure.
Should the Renter opt for an external or third party insurance they must upload this to the app in order for the Vendor to have access.
Use of the SHAZZA Services
User Accounts
In order to use most aspects of the Services, Vendors must register for and maintain an active personal user Services account (“Account”). Vendors must be at least 21 years old as a minimum and in full ownership of the vehicle as per the insurance and purchasing documents.
Account registration requires Vendors to submit certain personal information under SHAZZA’s “KYC” Policy such as, Vendor’s name, address, mobile phone number, age, and at least one proof of address.
Vendors agree to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date information in their accounts. Failure to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date Account information, including having an invalid or expired personal information on record, may result in your inability to access and use the Services or SHAZZA’s termination of these Terms with the Vendor. Vendors are also responsible for all activity that occurs under their account and agree to maintain the security and secrecy of their Account username and password at all times. Unless otherwise permitted by SHAZZA in writing, they may only possess one account. In addition to this, clients must have one account on a single device.
User Requirements and Conduct
The Service is not available for use by individuals under the age of 21 years old. Vendors may not authorise third parties to use their Account, and may not allow individuals under the age of 21 years old to rent any vehicle(s) to any Renter . Additionally, Vendors may not assign or otherwise transfer their Account to any other person or entity. Vendors agree to comply with all applicable laws governed by the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates when using the Services, and may only use the Services for lawful purposes (e.g., no transport of unlawful or hazardous materials). In certain instances, Vendors may be asked to provide proof of identity to access or use the SHAZZA services, and clients agree that they may be denied access to or use of the Services if they refuse to provide proof of identity. Random Identification checks may take place with Vendors to ensure compliance is being maintained.
Text Messaging/Push Notifications/Social Media
By creating an Account, Vendors agree that the Services may send them text messages, social media messaging communication or push notifications as part of the normal business operation of their use of the Services. Vendors may opt-out of receiving marketing messages from SHAZZA at any time.
Communications
SHAZZA uses email and electronic means to stay in touch with their clients. For contractual purposes, Vendors:

Consent to receive communications from SHAZZA in an electronic form via the email address they have submitted or via the Platform.

Agree that all Terms and Conditions, agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that SHAZZA provides to them electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications would satisfy if it were in a physical writing or traditional terms of mailing.

SHAZZA bears no responsibility for the information, data and communication shared from Vendor to Renter before, during and after the rental agreement between the two parties.
SHAZZA adheres and expects Vendors to adhere to the Personal Data Protection Law (PDP) of the United Arab Emirates. Inclusive of the PDP Law is the Federal Law No. 5 of 2012 on Combating Cybercrimes and its amendment by the Federal Law No. 12 of 2016. This makes it illegal to disclose any information obtained by electronic means, if such information was obtained in an unauthorised manner.
Please note these are effective and implemented as of 2nd January 2022 and are subject to change. SHAZZA holds no right to update the Vendor on the Personal Data Protection Laws and therefore the Vendor must ensure they are familiar with said laws.

User-Provided Content Disclaimer
In SHAZZA’s sole discretion, clients are permitted from time to time to submit, upload, publish or otherwise make available to SHAZZA through the Services textual, audio, and/or visual content and information, including commentary and feedback related to the Services, initiation of support requests, and promotions (“User Content”). Any User Content provided by the Vendor remains their property. However, by providing User Content to SHAZZA, Vendors therefore grant SHAZZA a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferrable, royalty free licence, with the right to sublicense, use, copy, modify, create derivative works of, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and otherwise exploit in any manner such User Content in all formats and distribution channels now known or hereafter devised (including in connection with the Services and SHAZZA’s business and on third-party sites and services), without further notice to or consent from the Vendor, and without the requirement of payment to the Vendor or any other person or entity.
The Vendor represents and warrants

That the Vendor is either the sole and exclusive owner of all User Content or has all rights, licences, consents, and releases necessary to grant SHAZZA the license to the User Content as set forth above.

Neither the User Content nor the Vendors’ submission, uploading, publishing or otherwise making available of such User Content nor SHAZZA’s use of the User Content as permitted herein will infringe, misappropriate, or violate a third party’s intellectual property or proprietary rights, or rights of publicity or privacy, or result in the violation of any applicable UAE Law or regulation as set about in these Terms and Conditions.
Where SHAZZA holds no liability in any form for the Vendors behaviours and actions the Vendors agree to not provide User Content that is defamatory, libellous, hateful, violent, obscene, unlawful, or otherwise offensive, as determined by SHAZZA in its sole discretion, whether or not such material may be protected by law. SHAZZA may, but shall not be obligated to, review, monitor, or remove User Content, at SHAZZA’s sole discretion and at any time and for any reason, without notice to the Vendor.
Network Access and Devices withholding the Shazza App
Vendors are responsible for obtaining the data network access necessary to use the Services. Their mobile network’s data and messaging rates and fees may apply if the Vendors access or use the Services from a wireless-enabled device and will be responsible for such rates and fees. Vendors are responsible for acquiring and updating compatible hardware or devices necessary to access and use the Services and Applications and any updates thereto. Should Vendors find any software problems they may report this to the Contact Us page on the SHAZZA platform. In addition, the Services may be subject to malfunctions and delays inherent in the use of the Internet and electronic communications. Updates from SHAZZA will be notified in the relevant mobile devices’ app store.
Licence of use
Subject to the Vendors compliance with these Terms, SHAZZA grants a limited, non exclusive, non-sublicensable, revocable, non-transferable licence to:

Access and use of the Applications on the Vendor’s personal device solely in connection with their use of the Services.

Access and use any content, information, and related materials that may be made available through the Services, in each case solely for personal, and non-commercial use. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by SHAZZA.
Ownership of App and Licence
The Services and all rights therein are and shall remain SHAZZA’s property or the property of SHAZZA’s licensees. Neither these Terms nor the Vendor’s use of the Services conveys or grants to the Vendor any rights:
A. In or related to the Services except for the limited licence granted above. B. To use or reference in any manner SHAZZA’s company names, logos, products and service names, trademarks, or service marks or those of Shazza’s licence.
Restrictions
Vendors may not:

Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from any portion of the Services relating to SHAZZA and any subsidiary companies associated with SHAZZA.

Reproduce, modify, prepare derivative works based upon, distribute, licence, rent, sell, resell, transfer, publicly display, transmit, stream, broadcast, or otherwise exploit the Services except as expressly permitted by SHAZZA.

Cause or launch any programs or scripts for the purpose of scraping, indexing, surveying, or otherwise data mining any portion of the Services or unduly burdening or hindering the operation and/or functionality of any aspect of the Services.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to or impair any aspect of the Services or its related systems or networks.
-
Defame, harasses, abuses, threatens or incites violence towards any individual or group, including Renters and SHAZZA employees or any affiliate associated. F. Use the services to promote or participate in any unlawful activity.
SHAZZA has the right to, in our sole discretion, determine whether or not any Vendor’s conduct is appropriate and complies with these Terms and Conditions. SHAZZA also has the right to terminate or deny access to and use of any Account and Service to any Vendor for any reason, with or without prior notice under the Federal Code no.5 of 2018 with regards to the Laws on Cyber Crime which supports the above restrictions mentioned.
Third-Party Services and Content
The Services may be made available or accessed in connection with third-party services and content (including advertising) that SHAZZA does not control. Vendors acknowledge that different terms of use and privacy policies may apply to their use of such third-party services and content. SHAZZA does not endorse such third-party services and content and in no event will be responsible for insurance of or for information for any products or services of such third-party providers. Additionally, Apple Inc., Google, Inc, Microsoft Corporation and/or their applicable international subsidiaries and affiliates will be third-party beneficiaries to this contract if the Customer or Vendor accesses the Services using Applications developed for Apple IOS and Android mobile devices, respectively. These third-party beneficiaries are not parties to this contract and are not responsible for the provision or support of the Services in any manner. The Vendor’s access to the Services using these devices is subject to terms outlined in the applicable third-party beneficiary’s terms of service.
SHAZZA takes no responsibility for third-party platform use such as WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram. All comments and reviews are made by non-related third-party individuals to SHAZZA.
Severability
If any part of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, that part of the Agreement will be construed to reflect the party’s original intent. The remaining portions will remain in full force and effect. Any failure on the part of SHAZZA to enforce any provision of this Agreement will not be considered a waiver of our right to enforce such provision SHAZZA rights under this Agreement will survive any termination of this Agreement.
Governing Law
This Agreement between a Vendor and SHAZZA and any access to or use of the Platform or the Service by a Customer is governed by the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates as applied by the Emirate of Dubai.
Should any dispute which may arise between the Vendor and SHAZZA pertaining to the implementation or interpretation of this Agreement shall be amicably settled, failing which the courts within the jurisdiction of Dubai, United Arab Emirates shall be the competent authority to settle the same.
App Disclaimer
SHAZZA makes no representation or warranty that the information provided directly or through the Service is accurate, reliable, or correct; that the Service will meet the Vendor’s requirements; that the Service will be available at any particular time or location, that the Service will function uninterruptedly or be secure; that any defects or errors will be corrected; or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components. Vendors assume full responsibility and risk of loss resulting from their use of information, content, or other material obtained from the Service.
Vendors are solely responsible for all of their communications and interactions with Renters, as applicable, and with other persons with whom they communicate or interact as a result of the use of the Services.
SHAZZA makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct of the vehicle rental and has no control over and does not guarantee the existence, quality, freshness, safety / roadworthiness, or legality of any vehicle rental advertised by Vendors as advertised on the app. The ability of Vendors to undertake the vehicle rental ; or that the Vendor Service will be available at any particular time, or location. SHAZZA does not warrant or guarantee that any vehicle rental offered through the platform will meet the Renters requirement, and the advertisement by the Vendor ensures that it is the Vendor's sole responsibility to provide the vehicle seen as advertised. Vendors agree to take reasonable precautions in all communications and interactions with Renters and with other persons with whom they communicate or interact as a result of their use of the Services, particularly if they decide to communicate via other means than the Services or to meet in person.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree to accept the Terms and Conditions of SHAZZA which are mentioned in the rental agreement that you may be asked to sign at the time of vehicle handover.
All terms, questions and answers are deemed legal in English and precede any other translation that may appear on the SHAZZA platforms. SHAZZA is not responsible for the translation of any wording other than that of English.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR USE OF OUR APP, ITS CONTENT, OR SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK OF LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF INFORMATION OR CONTENT OBTAINED FROM A VENDOR OR THE SERVICES.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY AS THEY REGULATE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOU THE “RENTER”, THE “VENDOR” AND SHAZZA BY ACCESSING AND USING THE PLATFORM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO BE BOUND FULLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. SHAZZA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REVISE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU MUST STOP USING OR ACCESSING ALL PLATFORMS IMMEDIATELY. ALL THE FAQS AND FEES LISTED ON ALL SHAZZA PLATFORMS ARE A PART OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Introduction
SHAZZA and its subsidiaries (collectively, ‘SHAZZA’, ‘we’ or ‘us’) provide online car rental services for residents and visitors on a peer-to-peer basis. SHAZZA is easily accessible and compatible with both IOS and Android phones. The website, mobile application, and associate services are collectively referred to as “the services”.
Definitions - The following terms are used throughout these terms and conditions and have the following meanings
Account: It means the account that the Users are required to register through the App and/or the Platform to use the Services including the required documents needed to complete the Account registration.
Add-ons: All additional services facilitated by SHAZZA including but not limited to an additional driver, full insurance, and personal accidental insurance. All add-ons including but not limited to such as GPS, baby seats are subject to the individual car rental options.
Agreement and Terms & Conditions: All terms and conditions and notices contained or referenced in this document (as mentioned) and all other
rules and regulations available on all platforms (including but not limited to the Privacy Policy, guidelines, and procedures that may be published from time to time on the Platform).
App: Mobile application that displays all of SHAZZA services and charges including current on-hires and previous rental history inclusive of vehicle insurance, licensing and any other required documents, payment overview, pay-outs and the option for direct Vendor-to -Renter communication.
Booking Confirmation: Any, and all written or electronically transmitted confirmation orders sent by SHAZZA for a vehicle that may contain, including without limitation, reservation number, the description of the vehicle, pick-up location, date and time, drop-off location, date, and time, payment terms, quantity, duration of the vehicle being rented and any special condition.
Booking ID: A specific booking reference on each vehicle’s booking via the application and confirmation upon a booking with relation to the SHAZZA app itself.
Customer: ‘you’ or ‘your’ collectively means a person or company renting out the vehicle(s) from the Vendor via the SHAZZA app and/or platform. Also known as “Renter”
Early Return Charges: This means the penalty charges payable by the Renter in the event of early termination of a Vehicle Rental Agreement by the Customer.
Extensions: If the Renter would like an extension on the rental for an additional period than the initial booking.
KYC: “Know Your Customer” a document and identification policy as separate to Terms and Conditions.
Non-Rental Charges: means charges that may be incurred by the Renter as a result of using a rented vehicle from a Vendor including, but not limited to, traffic and parking fines, toll fees, fuel charges, excess mileage fees, insurance premium, the Payment Default Penalty Charges, and the Early Termination Penalty Charges. These charges are subject to change as per the Road Transport Authority (RTA) guidelines.
PDP: Personal Data Protection, in accordance with the new UAE Federal Code of 2022.
Platform: means any online tool(s) provided, processed, and/or maintained by SHAZZA (including, but not limited to, through SHAZZA’s App, website, all subpages, and subdomains, all Content, Services, and products available at or through the Platform located at (WEBSITE NEEDED) or any other related domain offering access to, or facilitating the provision of, the Services.
Rental/Rented: The Renter pays for the days the car is rented out or if any add-ons are added, they will also be considered as rental.
Service means the online and/or offline services, provided by SHAZZA for the provision and use of the technology that SHAZZA has developed for collaboration, communication, and payment between the Vendors and the Customers, including without limitation access to SHAZZA App, online community, communication tools, and payment services. Note: The use of Client Data adhering to, and within the guidelines of the Protection of Personal Data under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data Protection. For further information on the use of data you make find this under our General Terms and Conditions.
Social Media: meaning any platforms inclusive of but not exclusive to, such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp in which are used to promote, market, interact with individuals, gain reviews and comments. SHAZZA may use this method of communication with Vendors and Renters.
Vehicle: The vehicle of a Vendor enrolled within the Platform that has been rented by a Renter or agreed by a Vendor to be rented out to a Renter through the Platform, and that includes its parts, components, accessories, and registration documents.
Vendor: The person(s) or company renting the vehicle to the Renter. A Vendor can also be referred to as a “Carpreneur”
Wallet: An in-app feature used for future payments both as rental or non-rental, or just keep extra credit in time of need. Refunds may be given in credit and stored within the Wallet function of the SHAZZA platform.
UAE: United Arab Emirates.
The following are the standard terms and conditions as for a Renter ("Terms and Conditions") that apply to your use of the Service Agreement as the Renter, signed by you, will constitute your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions as set out inclusive of the General Terms and Conditions .

Signing up to Shazza
Welcome to SHAZZA, as part of our signing up process whether you’re a Vendor or a Renter you will most likely be using either your face recognition through your mobile device or an email address. A quick reminder that signing up via these methods may automatically agree to our terms and conditions including marketing and updates. Should you wish to opt out of marketing please email customerservice@shazza.me and we will be happy to assist.
Services
SHAZZA provides a platform that enables users of a mobile application or website (“The Application”) to book and schedule vehicle rentals by connecting the Renter to the Vendor. SHAZZA does not bear an accountability or responsibility for the Vendors providing the vehicles, unless otherwise agreed to in a separate written agreement between SHAZZA, the Vendor and the Renter.
Eligibility
Eligibility to rent a car from a Vendor registered on the SHAZZA App.
The minimum age to lease a car from one of our Vendors is 21 years old. Furthermore, if you are on a residence visa in the UAE, you must have a valid UAE driving licence (front and back), Emirates ID (front and back) or Passport. GCC ID Cards are accepted however, if you are a resident of the UAE your Driving Licence must be registered within the United Arab Emirates.
Those vehicles considered as Luxury within the SHAZZA platforms will require a minimum age of 25 years old in order to be able to lease a car using the Shazza platforms.
Approval of ID will be based upon the above criteria. SHAZZA bears no responsibility for the authentication of the documents uploaded from either Vendor or Renter. Documentation will be checked however, SHAZZA does not take the liability of any incorrect documentation uploaded, presented or shared upon the platforms or from Customer to Renter.
Changes in Status to Eligibility
Renters must immediately notify SHAZZA if the case of the occurrence of any of the below mentioned events:

If your driver’s licence has been suspended, expired, surrendered, withdrawn, lost, or is no longer valid for any other reason.

In the case of a change of contact information: email address and mobile phone number etc.
By refraining from informing SHAZZA about any of the above-mentioned events, a Renter’s contract with SHAZZA and/or the Vendor themselves may be suspended or terminated. Contingent upon the nature of the change, SHAZZA retains the right to request Renters to provide an updated copy of their official driving record. It is the sole responsibility of the Renter to update their details accordingly.
SHAZZA has the right to reserve, update, modify and extend any parts herein the Changes of Status to Eligibility.
SHAZZA and the registered Vendors have the right to use the Government of Dubai’s document validation service at any given time without notice to validate the authenticity of the driving. You may find the details of the service at RTA Documentation Validation
SHAZZA Wallet
The SHAZZA wallet is available to deposit and hold funds in the Renters case to make payment for the rented vehicle along with the deposit amount.
Please consult our General Terms and Conditions with regards to further information regarding the SHAZZA wallet.
Renter Withdraw
The Renter can withdraw from their SHAZZA Wallet directly back to their original method of payment. SHAZZA will release funds after eighteen (18) business days to the Vendor from any leasing. After the eighteen (18) days have passed the individual banking terms are effective.

Instant Booking
Instant booking options are available to offer as a Vendor to a Renter. Should you offer the Instant booking option, the Vendor must be able to accept and handover the vehicle as long as the vehicle has a full tank, is clean and ready to collect. The Vendor has 30 minutes to approve. If the first time the Vendor misses accepting no penalty will occur however, any further mis-acceptance the Vendors account will be temporarily disabled from Instant Book feature and will only have access to the request to book option.
Vehicle Delivery and Collection
The Renter and the Vendor may arrange directly through the SHAZZA app the method of delivery or collection. The customer may be charged for late return at the discretion of the Vendor on an individual basis, please refer to the Late Return clause within these Terms and Conditions.
Should the Vendor need to deliver the vehicle to the Renter is charged a standard drop-off fee of AED 100. The Vendor will specify to the Renter during the booking process if the drop-off fee is applicable and if the amount differs. The Vendor must not under any circumstance announce the fee to the Renter after payment for the booking has been received or after the rental period has finished. The Renter must agree with the Vendor.
Should the vehicle be collected by the Renter from the Vendor and not dropped off there will be no charge. The drop off and pick up of the vehicle may be contactless for either party with an agreement between both Vendor and Renter of location, time and key collection/return. Shazza is not held accountable for any interactions or agreements in regards to the collection and return of the Vehicle.
Vehicle Conditions
Vendors must ensure the vehicle is considered a “full tank” of fuel and make note of marks, scratches, damages or any other conditions that may be required on collection by the Renter by uploading a video as per the SHAZZA guidelines. Unless otherwise stated between the Renter and Vendor a “full tank” not be provided a penalty may be charged may be incurred. The Renter must agree upon this to ensure a confirmed collection of the rental vehicle. The Renter will equally respect the fuel allowance and inform of any marks, scratches, damages or other conditions that may affect the return of the car to the Vendor via the video upload method.
Renters must upload a video 60 seconds / 1 minute in length of the exterior of the vehicle, and 30 seconds of the interior. Renters must include the start mileage in the photo upload and equally the Renter must include the end mileage in their photo. The Renter must also upload a photo of the vehicle on collection. This must be completed immediately upon pick up of the vehicle and drop-off.
Should the damages not be disclosed by the Vendor within one (1) hour from the return of the vehicle, the return of the vehicle’s condition becomes null and void. SHAZZA holds no liability for the communication of the above between Renter and Vendor. SHAZZA has the right to investigate on a case-by-case basis.
The Vendor must ensure that the car has been registered with the RTA for Salik and have a sufficient amount of AED in the RTA Salik account. The Vendor will be charged AED 4 per toll and given a final amount in AED to be deducted as per the RTA. The Renter will then have the final amount deducted from their deposit.
Extra Mileage
Where SHAZZA recommends the following charges for extra mileage, the Vendor will ultimately be responsible for the daily mileage. After the Renter has met the daily mileage allowance the excess amounts charge will be as follows:

Economy Vehicle: AED 0.35 per km
-
Mid-Range Vehicle: AED 0.40 per km
-
High-range Vehicle: AED 0.55 per km
-
Luxury: AED 0.65 per km
Cancellation of Confirmed Reservations, Refunds, Vehicle Rental.
Booking Process, Cancellation of Confirmed Reservations and Refunds:
The Renter will be confirmed by the Vendor for the rental of a vehicle within 24 hours. Should the 24-hour window for acceptance be missed the booking will be cancelled automatically. No payments are taken until the booking has been approved.
In the case of the Instant Book option, the Vendor has the right to cancel the booking within ten 30 minutes of acceptance without penalty. Renters are made aware of the thirty (30) minute grace period within these terms and conditions. Should the cancellation occur after the thirty (30) minute grace period the cancellation policy applies to both parties.
Should more than three (3) failed bookings consecutive within a one (1) month period, or cancellations occur due to the Vendors misuse of the app, the Vendors account will be suspended pending an investigation into the usage and authenticity of the account.
The Renter agrees to provide the Vendor deposit of an amount declared by the Vendor per vehicle hired from the Vendor, the minimum amount recommended will be AED 1500 to be held for fourteen (14) Days in the event of any Salik or RTA fines on the rented vehicle(s). Once the 14-day limit has passed all deductibles will be taken and the remaining amount returned to you via the original method of payment.

All cancellations of confirmed reservations by the client must be communicated directly to SHAZZA. If the Renter cancels from the start of the booking within (twenty-four) 24 hours a AED 300 penalty will be given to the Renter. If the cancellation will be processed outside of (twenty-four) 24 hours the penalty is waived.

If cancellations are made due to Covid -19, no force majeure is considered. The Vendor has full and legal right to request a confirmation of positive case and any monies paid by the Renter on confirmation of confirmed positive case will then fall under part (d). Should no confirmation of a positive case be provided the Vendor is entitled to keep any deposit(s) and the booking(s) will be considered as “no show”, the cancellation policy will be deemed relevant to charges under Part (e) of these terms and conditions.

Any other cancellations made within twenty-four (24 hours) are subject to an evaluation on a case-by-case basis. All cancellations must provide documented evidence to support.
You may appeal a cancellation by reaching out to the Renter and amicably settling based on the information they provide. Should no agreement be made an appeal to SHAZZA via the customer service may be made within twenty-four (24) hours of the booking being cancelled.
The Renter agrees and acknowledges that the rental payments are subject to the Vehicle Rental Agreement and in no event may SHAZZA be held liable for the refund of the Rental Payment and the Additional Fees. The refund and cancellation policy are as per these Terms and Conditions.
Non-Rental Charges Criteria
All non-rental includes Fines, Toll gates, Excess Mileage, Fuel charges, and damages where applicable. It is the Vendors responsibility to update these charges by presenting relevant documentation or a screenshot to the customerservice@shazza.me email address no later than thirteen (13) days after the last day of rental. SHAZZA holds no responsibility for any fines or salik charges. The renter will be charged the amount of the approved non-rental charges.
Late Return Fees
The Vendor and the Renter are permitted to arrange any other late return fees outside of this agreement however, SHAZZA stands by the following as a standard;

0 - 29 minutes: No Charge
-
30 - 119 minutes: ½ Daily Rental Price + AED 185 improper return fee
-
120 + minutes: 1 Day Rental Price + AED 185 improper return fee + AED 75 late return fee.
Improper return fee may be charged if the Renter is unresponsive, abandons the vehicle, causes a trip cancellation and/or any other reasons determined by SHAZZA.
Insurance
All cars must come with comprehensive insurance as per UAE law. In the event of an accident or damage, the Renter must notify the police and vendor immediately and should not move the vehicle until the police issue a report or advise them to do so. Failure to submit a police report will render the Renter liable for all costs incurred as a result of the accident and will result in no insurance coverage. The Renter has the right to request a copy of the Vendors vehicle insurance policy at any time.
In the result of an accident the UAE Police may be called on 999
If the police report provided is ‘Green’, Renters will not be charged as this was not their fault.
If the police report is ‘Red’, there will be excess insurance charges depending on the type of car, age of driver (under 25 years old or above 25 years old) and the extent of damage caused.
If it is the Renter 's mistake and a ‘Red’ police report is provided - maximum liability will be charged. The Vendor has the right to charge the excess amount to the Renter as per the UAE’s Insurance Authority.

All documentation relating to any offences of any vehicles stored on the SHAZZA app must be presented by both the customer and the vendor.
The Vendor holds no responsibility under the car insurance to uphold any medical costs that may incur due to any accidents sustained whilst the vehicle is rented by the Renter.
Note: Coverage for punctures, tire damage, wheel caps, aerials, and windscreens must be disclosed by the vendor to the customer as per the vehicle’s individual insurance terms and conditions.
Insurance
SHAZZA is proud to offer Renters a number of Insurance options giving you the peace of mind that whilst you are renting one of the vehicles on the platform you are covered for any accidents that may occur.
The following options for insurance while using SHAZZA are;
Excess Deductible Deposit: The Renter may pay the Vendor the deposit of the excess deductible amount as per the registered vehicle’s insurance policy. The deposit will be released upon the return of the vehicle based on no damages present. The amount will be added to the SHAZZA wallet and can thereafter be withdrawn to the chosen renters bank account or credit card.
International Insurance: You may provide valid insurance from another country that will cover vehicle rental in the UAE. Documents must be approved by the Vendor via uploading of the documents via the app for the insurance to be accepted. Vendors will also be provided with a link to World Wide Insurance Company to whom they will then have the option to offer the third-party insurance to you the Renter.
Third-Party Insurance: Should the Renter take out third-party insurance, they must provide the Vendor with a copy of the said insurance with the specific details. The Terms and Conditions set out in the third-party insurance must also be shared with the Vendor.
The Renter may utilise the third-party insurance option via https://www.worldwideinsure.com
SHAZZA holds no responsibility or liability for any third-party insurance and has no affiliation to Worldwide Insure.
Should the Renter opt for an external or third party insurance they must upload this to the app in order for the Vendor to have access.
Use of the SHAZZA Services
User Accounts:
In order to use most aspects of the Services, clients must register for and maintain an active personal user Services account (“Account”). Customers must be at least 21 years of age as minimum and in full ownership of the vehicle as per the insurance and purchasing documents.
Account registration requires the Renter to submit certain personal information under Shazza’s “KYC” Policy such as, Renter’s name, address, mobile phone number, driving licence and at least one form of Identification as per the customers home country should they be a tourist or on a visit visa.
Renters agree to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date information in their accounts. Failure to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date Account information, including having an invalid or expired personal information on record, may result in your inability to access and use the
Services or SHAZZA’s termination of these Terms with the Renter. Renter are also responsible for all activity that occurs under their account and agree to maintain the security and secrecy of their Account username and password at all times. Unless otherwise permitted by SHAZZA in writing, they may only possess one account. Both Vendors and Renters must have one account on a single device.
User Requirements and Conduct
The Service is not available for use by individuals under the age of 21 years old. Renters may not authorise third parties to use their Account. Renters must not transfer their account to any other person who is registered with the SHAZZA platform. Renters agree to comply with all applicable laws governed by the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates when using the Services, and may only use the Services for lawful purposes (e.g., no transport of unlawful or hazardous materials).
Text Messaging/Push Notifications/Social Media
By creating an Account, Renters agree that the Services may send them text messages, social media messaging communication or push notifications as part of the normal business operation of their use of the Services. Vendors may opt-out of receiving marketing messages from SHAZZA at any time.
Communications
SHAZZA uses email and electronic means to stay in touch with their clients. For contractual purposes, Renters:

Consent to receive communications from SHAZZA in an electronic form via the email address they have submitted or via the Platform.

Agree that all Terms and Conditions, agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that SHAZZA provides to them electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications would satisfy if it were in a physical writing or traditional terms of mailing.

SHAZZA bears no responsibility for the information, data and communication shared from Renter to Vendor before, during and after the rental agreement between the two parties.
SHAZZA adheres and expects Renters to adhere to the Personal Data Protection Law (PDP) of the United Arab Emirates. Inclusive of the PDP Law is the Federal Law No. 5 of 2012 on Combating Cybercrimes and its amendment by the Federal Law No. 12 of 2016. This makes it illegal to disclose any information obtained by electronic means, if such information was obtained in an unauthorised manner.
Please note these are effective and implemented as of 2nd January 2022 and are subject to change. SHAZZA holds no right to update the Renter on the Personal Data Protection Laws and therefore the Vendor must ensure they are familiar with said laws.

User-Provided Content Disclaimer
In SHAZZA’s sole discretion, clients are permitted from time to time to submit, upload, publish or otherwise make available to SHAZZA through the Services textual, audio, and/or visual content and information, including commentary and feedback related to the Services, initiation of support requests, and promotions (“User Content”). Any User Content provided by the Renter remains their property. However, by providing User Content to SHAZZA , Renter therefore grant SHAZZA a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferrable, royalty-free licence, with the right to sublicense, use, copy, modify, create derivative works of, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and otherwise exploit in any manner such User Content in all formats and distribution channels now known or hereafter devised (including in connection with the Services and SHAZZA’s business and on third-party sites and services), without further notice to or consent from the Renter , and without the requirement of payment to the Vendor or any other person or entity.
The Renter represents and warrants

That the Vendor is either the sole and exclusive owner of all User Content or have all rights, licences, consents, and releases necessary to grant SHAZZA the license to the User Content as set forth above.

Neither the User Content nor the Renter’s submission, uploading, publishing or otherwise making available of such User Content nor SHAZZA ’s use of the User Content as permitted herein will infringe, misappropriate, or violate a third party’s intellectual property or proprietary rights, or rights of publicity or privacy, or result in the violation of any applicable UAE Law or regulation as set about in these Terms and Conditions.
Where SHAZZA holds no liability in any form for the Renters behaviours and actions, the Renter agrees to not provide User Content that is defamatory, libellous, hateful, violent, obscene, unlawful, or otherwise offensive, as determined by SHAZZA in its sole discretion, whether or not such material may be protected by law. SHAZZA may, but shall not be obligated to, review, monitor, or remove User Content, at SHAZZA’s sole discretion and at any time and for any reason, without notice to the Vendor.
Network Access and Devices withholding the Shazza App
Renters are responsible for obtaining the data network access necessary to use the Services. Their mobile network’s data and messaging rates and fees may apply if the Renters access or use the Services from a wireless-enabled device and will be responsible for such rates and fees. Renters are responsible for acquiring and updating compatible hardware or devices necessary to access and use the Services and Applications and any updates thereto. Should Renters find any software problems they may report this via the Contact Us Page In addition, the Services may be subject to malfunctions and delays inherent in the use of the Internet and electronic communications. Updates from SHAZZA will be notified in the relevant mobile devices’ app store.
License of Use
Subject to the Renters compliance with these Terms, SHAZZA grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, revocable, non-transferable license to:

Access and use of the Applications on the Renter’s personal device solely in connection with their use of the Services.

Access and use any content, information, and related materials that may be made available through the Services, in each case solely for personal, and non-commercial use. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by SHAZZA.
Restrictions
Renters may not:

Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from any portion of the Services relating to SHAZZA and any subsidiary companies associated with SHAZZA.

Reproduce, modify, prepare derivative works based upon, distribute, licence, rented, sell, resell, transfer, publicly display, transmit, stream, broadcast, or otherwise exploit the Services except as expressly permitted by SHAZZA.

Cause or launch any programs or scripts for the purpose of scraping, indexing, surveying, or otherwise data mining any portion of the Services or unduly burdening or hindering the operation and/or functionality of any aspect of the Services.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to or impair any aspect of the Services or its related systems or networks.
-
Defame, harass, abuse, threaten or incite violence towards any individual or group both Vendor and Renter or any SHAZZA employee or any affiliate associated.

Use the services to promote or participate in any unlawful activity.
SHAZZA has the right to, in our sole discretion, determine whether or not any Renter’s conduct is appropriate and complies with these Terms and Conditions. SHAZZA also has the right to terminate or deny access to and use of any Account and Service to any Renter for any reason, with or without prior notice under the Federal Code no.5 of 2018 with regards to the Laws on Cyber Crime which supports the above restrictions mentioned.
Third-Party Services and Content
The Services may be made available or accessed in connection with third-party services and content (including advertising) that SHAZZA does not control. Renters acknowledge that different terms of use and privacy policies may apply to their use of such third-party services and content. SHAZZA does not endorse such third-party services and content and in no event will be responsible for insurance for information for any products or services of such third-party providers. Additionally, Apple Inc, Google, Inc., Microsoft Corporation and/or their applicable international subsidiaries and affiliates will be third-party beneficiaries to this contract if the client accesses the Services using Applications developed for Apple IOS and Android mobile devices, respectively. These third-party beneficiaries are not parties to this contract and are not responsible for the provision or support of the Services in any manner. The customer’s access to the Services using these devices is subject to terms outlined in the applicable third-party beneficiary’s terms of service.
SHAZZA takes no responsibility for third-party platform use such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. All comments and reviews are made by non-related third-party individuals to SHAZZA.
Ownership of App and License
The Services and all rights therein are and shall remain SHAZZA’s property or the property of SHAZZA’s licensees. Neither these Terms nor the Renter’s use of the Services conveys or grant to the Renter any rights:

In or related to the Services except for the limited licence granted above.

To use or reference in any manner SHAZZA’s company names, logos, products and service names, trademarks, or service marks or those of Shazza’s license.
Severability
If any part of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, that part of the Agreement will be construed to reflect the party’s original intent. The remaining portions will remain in full force and effect. Any failure on the part of SHAZZA to enforce any provision of this Agreement will not be considered a waiver of our right to enforce such provision. SHAZZA ’s rights under this Agreement will survive any termination of this Agreement.
App Disclaimer
SHAZZA makes no representation or warranty that the information provided directly or through the Service is accurate, reliable, or correct; that the Service will meet the customer’s requirements; that the Service will be available at any particular time or location, that the Service will function uninterruptedly or be secure; that any defects or errors will be corrected; or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components. Renters assume full responsibility and risk of loss resulting from their use of information, content, or other material obtained from the Service.
Renters are solely responsible for all of their communications and interactions with vendors, as applicable, and with other persons with whom they communicate or interact as a result of the use of the Services.
SHAZZA makes no representations or warranties as to the condition of the vehicle rental and has no control over and does not guarantee the existence, quality, freshness, safety / roadworthiness, or legality of any vehicle rental advertised by Vendors as advertised on the app. The ability of Vendors to undertake the vehicle rental; or that the Vendor Service will be available at any particular time, or location. SHAZZA does not warrant or guarantee that any vehicle rental offered through the Platform will meet a Renter’s requirement and the advertisement by the vendor ensures that it is the vendor's sole responsibility to provide the Vehicle as seen advertised. Renters agree to take reasonable precautions in all communications and interactions with vendors and with other persons with whom they communicate or interact as a result of their use of the Services, particularly if they decide to communicate via other means than the Services or to meet in person.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree to accept the Terms and Conditions of SHAZZA which are mentioned in the rental agreement that you may be asked to sign at the time of vehicle handover.
All terms, questions and answers are deemed legal in English and precede any other translation that may appear on the SHAZZA platforms. SHAZZA is not responsible for the translation of any wording other than that of English.
Governing Law
This Agreement between the Renter and SHAZZA, and any access to or use of the Platform or the Service by a customer is governed by the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates as applied by the Emirate of Dubai.
Should any dispute which may arise between the Renter, Vendor, and /or the SHAZZA platform pertaining to the implementation or interpretation of this Agreement shall be amicably settled between the two parties themselves, failing which the courts within the jurisdiction of Dubai, United Arab Emirates shall be the competent authority to settle the same.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR USE OF OUR APP, ITS CONTENT, OR SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK OF LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF INFORMATION OR CONTENT OBTAINED FROM A VENDOR OR THE SERVICES.
